Bassendean Electrical

The Town of Bassendean council lists you first for "electrician Bassendean." The website it links to doesn't exist.

The goal

Most Perth electrical businesses your size sit between $30k and $100k a month. If the goal is holding $100k consistently rather than riding the season, this is about the gap between those two numbers.

What we found

1

The Town of Bassendean council lists you first, and links to a website that doesn't exist

Checked 16 September 2026: the council's business directory is the #1 Google result for "electrician bassendean", and it lists Bassendean Electrical first among six businesses. The website link it publishes returns a browser DNS error, the domain doesn't resolve at all. Five other electricians are listed right underneath.

What it costs: Someone searches, trusts the council result, clicks your name because it matches their suburb, and gets "this site can't be reached." They go back and click one of the five others listed right there.

The fix: Re-register or re-point the domain, even just to your current WordPress site, and the council link starts working again.

2

Your emergency contact email bounces, because the domain has no mail server

Checked 16 September 2026: bassendeanelectrical.com.au returns no DNS record at all, on four separate checks including the mail server record. Your own website's contact link, phil@bassendeanelectrical.com.au, is published on every page and cannot receive mail.

What it costs: Anyone who emails you instead of calling gets a silent bounce. You'd never know the enquiry existed.

The fix: Once the domain is sorted, set up a working mailbox on it, or switch every listing to an address that works today.

Eight competitors have a dedicated Bassendean page. You have none.

Checked 16 September 2026: Richtek, J&C, Brillare, Alby, Assured, Westside, Sarros and Westline all have their own Bassendean landing page. Your current website is three pages with no suburb content and no location page for the suburb you're named after.

What it costs: You're outranked for your own business name by websites with a fraction of your local standing, simply because they built a page and you haven't.

The fix: Build a proper site with a real Bassendean page, your licence, and your reviews front and centre.

Your Google listing has no website attached, and something looks off with the reviews

Checked 16 September 2026: your live Google Business Profile has an empty website field, it literally shows "Add website." The profile summary also includes a line that reads like a restaurant review, not an electrician one, which is worth reporting to Google as a possible bad merge.

What it costs: A free field on your own listing is sitting blank, and a stray review that doesn't belong to you is the first thing people read.

The fix: Add your website to the Google Business Profile field today, and flag the odd review to Google for review.

Who we've helped: We recently helped Daniel from Nexus Electrical Co, a Perth electrician, with his Meta ad content and website landing pages. Real result: 16 leads at $41.57 cost per lead in his first campaign month.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at the audit.

I only spent about half an hour on your digital presence and found these four things. They're not the biggest issues out there, but they all add up to how you rank and how you show up online.

If you want to go deeper, I'd love to take a proper look at your paid ads, specifically Google and Meta, and hear a bit about your business and where you want to take it, whether there's a revenue number you're chasing. We specialise in Perth service businesses, tradies and schools included.

If any of this is worth a conversation, send me a message below and I'll give you a call.

Thanks,
Chris
